At GRC we have the technology of 2007 to automate your factory using Allen Bradley Device Net or Control Net, Modicon / Square D Modbus plus, or Siemens Profibus. MCCs can now be controlled by one digital cable, fed from your PLC cabinet eliminating miles of control wire. This digital cable can also daisy chain through field instrumentation such as Micro Motion flow instrumentation, volumetric feeders; and Milltronics laser or ultrasonic level indicators. Variable frequency drives can be controlled, monitored and programmed through this digital buss. Smart digital overloads on your motor starters not only stop and start your motors but also send back amperage readings on each phase, report phase imbalance, and can even alarm you if the load becomes too low or high set by your parameters, indicating that a belt or chain has come off or something is plugged up or binding. The next step is to connect the digital buss and PLC to a PC or your plant network. With Rockwell's RS View 32, Wonderware®, Modicon's or Siemens programs, every thing can be controlled, monitored, and history kept all on a PC or in your companies network. Real time data from quantity of products made, to viewing the level, tonnage or volume of products in a tank or bin.
What we can do at your plant is almost with out limits. The installation cost is much less than you would think since the wire and cable requirements are so greatly reduced. We can update the oldest of equipment, or design build with your new machinery. Just tell your OEM that the electrical control's will be done by GRC.
